The US Agency for International Development (USAID) funded three senior Government of Pakistan officials to participate in the 15th International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC), focusing on mobilising and connecting agents of change to ensure that demands for greater transparency and accountability lead to sustainable changes. The United States is committed to fighting corruption and to promote good, open, and accountable governance for the 21st century.

USAID through its Training for Pakistan Project selected participants holding important positions in the government and currently engaged at policy and implementation level for promoting corruption free environment. More than 1,900 people from 140 countries gathered in Brazil to discuss the pressing issue of corruption and its impact on a society. The platform gave the participants a chance to share experiences, devise new ways for greater transparency and accountability, and learn innovative means to promote corruption free work environment in public sector.-PR
